johan's first week

Because of his jaundice, Johan had to spend some time on a billi bed in the hospital. He was not a big fan and usually would up in this position. We call it the "hear no evil, see no evil."

Johan's first night in his crib at home - Angie's dad made this crib for her when she was born, so it is pretty special that Johan gets to use it, too.

After more tests we learned Johan's billiruben numbers had gone up again. So, we set up a billi bed at home in his cradle. This one he liked since he was able to be secured and wouldn't startle himself awake every few minutes.

We never realized what contortionists newborns are. This is one of Johan's favorite things to do - we call it his "praying feet."
