Thanksgiving is traditionally filled with lots of family and stuffing yourself with food until you're ready to pop. Well, we didn't want to let tradition down, so that's exactly what we did! Bernard and I spent the weekend with the Purtha's in Indiana. It was wonderful to be surrounded by family again. We ate, we shopped till Bernard dropped (I still have energy left!), and spent lots of time with family and friends. Bonus: it snowed! YEAH! Beautiful Indiana lake-effect snow. We got three or so inches Wednesday night - like a welcome home present (and it's not even Christmas). Bernard and I are so thankful for our families, friends (even if we hardly ever get to see you!), each other, and most of all the fact that we are so loved by our gracious God. He's amazing, don't you think?
