a little background

a blog...yes, we have joined the masses! We decided that the network of people we try to keep in contact with has expanded so much, and many of our friends and family are in so many locations all over the world, that it was time to start our very own blog. This way we can hear from all of you and you can hear from us more than a couple times a year. :0) So, we will do our best to post weekly and keep you up to date on our lives.

Some tidbits for you all from our last year. We...

• Got married! :0)
• Set up house (well, apartment) in suburban Minneapolis
• Have had so much fun learning how to be husband and wife
• Have been volunteering at our church's youth group, elevate
• Quit a job (Angie) and got a new job (Bernard) - and it only took 14 months of immigration red tape
